Vanishing on the 7th StreetA normal viewer won't think about the back story of this movie, but you have to use your imagination of whats actually happening
You wont like it otherwise
Vanishing On 7th Street - Official Trailer [HD]Now lets move to the greatest movie ever.
PrometheusPrometheus - Official Trailer [TRUE HD]I went to see it last night in 3D. I had high expectations of this movie. And it was well worth it.
Great cast, great director and great genre.
There are really bad reviews, but I just can't understand people.
The script was partly written by Damon Lindelof, writer of Lost series. Which I really enjoyed because it left you thinking after almost every episode.
The characters evolved really nice, specially Elizabeth or Janek
People were saying it's a prequel to Alien, but Ridley Scott denied it. It really has alot of similarities.
Although it's the same universe with a different way of how the story evolves.
If you aren't SF fan(atic), you wont really like this.
This movie has some epic scenes. I wasn't bored not even one second.
The 3D was so much more easier to follow than Avengers. It felt more smooth, I wasn't losing on the screen!
But if you plan to see, 3D isn't really worth it, it really wont make any difference after all.
This movie isn't for 3D, expect for those holographic stuff which looked nice
Now about the story..
Group of scientiests found that ancient civilizations were sharing the same pictogram.
Weyland corp. led a multi billion dollar ship on a far away system based on the drawings.
When they got there, things went really bad. That's about everything I can tell you about the story.
It basically answers questions from Alien, about Space Jockey, origin of Alien, yet leaves so many questions.
There will be sequel, I'm sure. They did a good job in acting this, also it's visually stunning. Perfection.
I will go see it again next week again
****SPOILERS WARNING****So today I was thinking more about the movie and actually figured out more stuff
So the starting scene comes with a engineer on a great waterfall scene. He drinks some black goo, which eventually kills him.
Falls in the water, 'accidentally' creates life on earth, now I am saying this because I really think they didn't want this to happen.
In the system where they were going, there was moon, which was the only one capable of life...
There they found a straight lines of domes
They were perfectly fine to breath inside dome, because something was creating breathable air
Also there was a body of engineer, later discovered it has origin of our DNA.
The head was cut by door of the room full of Vase shapped objects.
Vases started to release black goo when they disrupted the atmosphere in the room.
In the movie they really tried to point out that it affects really wierd on all living creatures.
And it's what's the key for all stuff. I think engineers created this as some sort of ultimate weapon for something
It affected caterpillars and other creatures, on the ground nearby, turned them violent
Two of crew members got lost.. Eventually some snake like creature killed one of the crew members.
Second one got violent, he was killed by crew members because he tried to kill everybody near the ship in the scene
David also put a small amount of black goo in water of Charlie Holloway. He was boyfriend of Elizabeth Shaw
They had sex, eventually David discovered she was pregnant. Now she didn't have a normal baby but some sort of octopus like creature.
It did grow really fast inside her. The scene afterwards was just amazing, I haven't seen anything similiar in years.
In the underground nearby there is a ship with engineers inside sleep stasis
One of them was alive. And it was a real surprise, but Peter Weyland (really old) decides to secretly be on the ship.
They went to 'talk' to him, asking him about the origin and why, why, why!
But, he didn't say a word, attacked them and tried to leave the planet. Probably to go on Earth.
As Prometheus wasn't a battle ship, it made the captain Janek go straight into it just to stop it.
Now, they were all dead expect for Elizabeth and David.
The supplies part of the ship was ejected before impact. But there was also a medical station where Elizabeth took away creature from herself.
It really grew alot. And the thing is that engineer was going after her, but she managed to get him attached by big octopus/creature
There were many ships underground nearby domes, since that was like a military zone for them I guess.
Since David knows how to fly those ships, they could return to home
But Elizabeth decided to go find out where Engineers really come from.
The movie ended with a scene back on ejected medical ship..
All the mixes between creatures, humans and engineer together with black goo, they created Alien!
And that's where the movie ended
