Xfire Group - Ownage Owls

So i decided i would make an Xfire group for everyone that plays our servers and browses our forums

I thought it would be a great way to keep in touch as then you can all talk via the group or find each other more easily.

There are certain ranks within the Xfire Group, mainly just so people are recognised easier and so people cannot fake others names ect.

But basically when you join your moved straight into the 'Ownage Owl's Player' which is for all regular players of the servers, but if you're an owl you'll be moved into the 'Owl' section and obviously 'Wise Owl' if it applies to you.

So i hope you all join, its by request only so i'll have to review your 'application to join' but there isnt any rules so anyone will be accepted.

I always had Xfire, and never bothered with communities, as something special..
It's like for clans without site
But ok

I think its more just for the actual group via the application its self than the site.

But anyway, you'll all have to re-join ( I sent Applications to all the members that were already accepted ) i made a fail in the name, but its fixed now.

Are we using this in place of TeamSpeak? I'm pretty sure XFire has a chatting function, unless I'm wrong. I've only had installed for like a day years and years ago.

na... we don't really need this. I will be doing something in this week, maybe we can move to another step.

The point of the group is for the messaging purpose's it does have Voice Messaging, but so does MSN, Skype and so many other IM. The good thing about Xfire is that it holds your in-game stats and now all players can find each other on Xfire without having to ask in-game look on forums ect. and its easy to know if admins are in-game also.

Its not exactly 'needed' but neither is alot of things we have, i thought it would be a good idea and most people seem to like it.
