Downloading a map pack?

hey buddies, i like to play on DM but i have a slow DL speed, ping is fine but it takes ages to load a map and tho i played it i have to load it every time and its a pain in the ass. can i download your whole map pack so i don't have to DL all the maps. is it possible after all?

It doesn't work that way! You will always have to download maps no matter if you have them or not

The only thing I can suggest is to get a better internet connection. Or restrict usage on your current one eg stop any running torrents or tell your brother to stop downloading porn.

hehe, funny guy. i got a 12 month contract i don't have much cash so 500kb/s is the best i can do right now, i don't download anything, and i live alone. typing this i realized how shitty my life is lol

not really, when they vote 2mb maps i need about 30 secs to download and by that time all of them are dead then when i start only 4 people left and no fun in that : /

Then there is something wrong with your internet. If you've got internet of 500 kbs, that means it is 0,5 mbs. Likely not everything is used on downloading the maps, but lets say half does. 250 kbs. 2mb/0,25=8 seconds. Suggesting you to do a speedtest and check if you actually reach that speed, if not, connect your internet provider.

ye 500kbps enough but when you play mta stop all internet programs and stop torrent.... but game booster help you in stop all useless program in online gaming

I have 500kbs connection when TV is on, and it is more then enough to play, actually, when im on server with like 20 other players in most cases, i spawned first (including 30 secs of download) while others are still downloading map, also my ping is like 40... Even with 100kbs connection i had few years ago it was fine without any troubles.

With those "new" maps which are bigger then 2mb it is normal to wait 30 secs for download, you are not the only one who is downloading there is other players who are downloading simultaneously and obviously server cant provide higher speed.
