Title: MTA Fails
Post by: Mr Deftino on Aug 18, 2008, 19:12:12
Hey guys, just got my new PC with windows Vista. I installed GTA then installed MTA: DM and installed MTA: Race. Didn't work so i uninstalled them both then just installed MTA: Race, that didn't work either. So i uninstalled both again and installed MTA: DM, that still didn't work. Whats going on? I've downgraded to 1.0 and installed no mods.

However, I do have a No CD crack, so that may be what it is...

MTA:Race @ Vista is total crash, impossible to get it working on Vista.
Dont know how about MTA:DM, should work with Vista...

It's probably the No Disk crack, when my DVD Drive finally realises that GTA is in the drive (its being an idiot lol) i'll copy the .exe from the disk and replace it and try again.

PS: If MTA: Race doesn't work, is there a way I can build a map, I wana do the Top Gear test track lol.

I know i was talking about MTA:DM that doesn't work either. Everytime i start it, it either plays the sounds of the menu and doesnt show anything, or it does show sumthing and crashed within about 4 seconds.

your new computer has more than 100gb(probably 500gb) so you cut 30gb and install xp and than u can play everything. i dont like vista(xp not too, but it works and the most of the tests show that u have more pics per sec when u hab installed xp). hope it works, because when i installed mta:race i had to rename a dll that it works.

You can't play MTA:Race online on Vista.
You can get the Map Editor working by deleting client.dll.
