What if two people are posting at the same time( this might be unlikely, sure, but it still can happend in theory!) then these two people will reply both referring to the same word, this making the next word in some cases senseless!
Example : person A said "carrot".
Person B is posting a reply to A, he's saying "cake". This is due to him thinking of "carrot cake", yet he's only saying "cake".
Person C is now also replying to person A saying "Carrot Top", this referring to the so called "comedian".
though, the thread started the way you are describing, just posting a word at a time...
