I checked Wikipedia and..:
GMT has no summer-/wintertime as a result there is a different aberration to it in your local summer-/wintertime
e.g. the MEZ (middle european time) is GMT+1 and MESZ(middle european SUMMER time) is GMT+2
so if you live in middle europe and it is summer and you want to do a clanwar at 18:00 local time it is 16:00 GMT (18-2)
if it is winter 18:00 local would be 17:00 GMT (18-1)
if you are not sure which aberration to GMT you have, check
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/ and compare to your clock
